On Friday, US-based aircraft manufacturer Boeing announced its collaboration with the state-owned oil marketing company HPCL to establish a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) ecosystem in India. This partnership aims to explore opportunities to increase SAF production domestically, support the certification of locally produced SAF, and advocate for policies to develop a robust SAF ecosystem in the country, according to Boeing’s statement.
